I have been traveling around the world as an English teacher since 2012. I've had my camera in my hands everywhere I've been and photographed everything that's made my soul sing. I photograph moments that intrigue me, people that inspire me, landscapes that move me, musicians that cause me to break out and dance, and anything that strikes my curiosity. I don't limit myself to a few set niches in terms of subject matter. I don't belive I have to. Cherrydeck only allows me to choose three categories, but really, I can photograph anything. I love to photograph people, nature, animals, architecture, city scenes, concerts/events, still life, food, landscapes, nature /animals and more. I don't do much with studios, and I prefer to use natural light as opposed to harsh flashes. When it comes to photographing people, I prefer to take candid shots, as opposed to posed scenes. I don't like to create or design scenes to photograph. I have a natural style. I wander around this planet and I photograph what the world presents to me. My style is to capture the emotions and senses of a scene. I want the viewer to hear, smell, taste (if it's food) and feel everything I experienced when I clicked my camera's button. That's my niche. It's my own niche. I haven't gotten many paid jobs, or won any competitions or awards. I don't have resume experience. But I'm confident in my skills. I'm not a super technical photographer, and I don't use much equipment. Just a handy Canon and some trusted lenses. I don't think I need much more than that. I believe my work speaks for itself. I know I'm talented and capable. I'm also very hardworking, resourceful, and reliable. It's my dream to make a living off of photography. I want to keep traveling, keep exploring and capture all the moments of life - beautiful, painful, weird, fun, exciting, scary and everything in between. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for looking at my work. Love and Light to all.
