I'm a Berlin-based photographer working primarily with interiors, architecture, and portraits. My work is about finding what's already there, the quality of light in a room, the atmosphere a space holds, the details that make it specific to the people who shaped it.
I studied photography at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Vienna where I recieved my MFA.
I work closely with designers, architects, and private clients to understand what matters about a space before I shoot it. Rather than imposing a look, I try to draw out what's already compelling, working with the light the space offers, supplementing where needed, and keeping the character of the place central throughout.
I came to photography through film and writing, and that background still shapes how I approach the work: I'm looking for the story a space or a person is already telling.
Portrait commissions are also a regular part of my practice. If you'd like to talk through a project, feel free to get in touch.
