Oihane Azcona

Oihane Azcona was born in Spain in 1988. Since she was little, she was a colourful dreamer perfused with original ideas. She always had an artistic spirit that she applied in different disciplines like music and painting. Her passion for photography developed naturally as a way to portray the world through her eyes in her late 20’s. Her personal style has been constructed around portrait and landscape photography, focusing on uncovering the true soul and essence of the people she encounters and places that enchant her. She found in Fine Art Photography the perfect tool to share her romantic and pictorial vision. Considering herself a sensitive person, she works around emotions and sensations in her photography. Photography has helped her to understand her own feelings and to speak openly about them. She believes that someone who is open about their emotions is showing strength and confidence in themselves. In this same way, she uses portrait photography to help reveal the emotions and strength of the person who unveils in front of her camera. Nature has always had deep roots in her, as it is in nature where she feels the real connexion with earth. Her passion for the planet has been growing since she first started hiking in the Pyrenees, where her family is originally from. Being conscious of the environmental problems that desolate the world, she is a true advocate for conservation.
