Paula Ortega

I grew up on the island of Gran Canaria in northwestern Africa. As a good islander I feel free surrounded by nature, outdoor sports and adventures. I started in the world of photography when I was 14 years old when my parents gave me my first camera. I started studying photography and editing during the summers. I had always been a creative girl but I had never found how to capture it until I had a camera in my hands. Once I finished high school, I decided to study a degree in marketing and a master in digital marketing in Madrid. Later I moved to the US to work at Disney. During those 5 years I was able to travel a lot and I kept photographing all those moments but I never thought of making a life of it. Back home I started working in an advertising agency for brands like Hyundai, Audi and Volkswagen. Due to Covid I could not continue working there and decided to start a digital marketing agency for small business. During this process I realized that what I enjoyed the most was capturing the essence of brands through photography. That brings us to the present moment, where I share my vision and show my soul as it is, free, simple and pure.
