More than anything, I find people and the places they inhabit, the most interesting subjects for my photos. Coming from a mixed background, and having lived in Bulgaria, Canada, and the Netherlands, has made me appreciate the richness of diversity and what different cultures have to teach us. I have learned to adapt, accept and learn from every place I visit and implement those teachings within my daily life. I don’t feel like I have one real home or belong to one specific country—I consider myself a citizen of the world, as cliché as that may sound.
