Let’s get overfamiliar lol. At 30, I overhauled my comfortable career as a healthcare professional to pursue photography. And I did this despite overwhelming amounts of anxiety and uncertainty. The status quo became physically unbearable. And while I had my budding photography business on the side. There was a calling I couldn’t ignore; to give photography not just late nights and weekends. It started to materialise to me that I could make a career out of what I loved, and live a life that feels more fulfilling. My mom had no formal education but was an astute business woman, my dad took photos and changed the direction of his generation. I get being unconventional, I get being an underdog lol. So I continued to hone my craft. Devouring books, and courses around photography, branding and growing a passion driven business. The reason simply put is living creatively and creating space for most authentic self to blossom. Underneath everything I do professionally I still carry two things I learnt in healthcare which are attention to detail and caring deeply that the outcome is meaningful.
