Richard Powazynski

To introduce myself I am a photographer and retoucher originally from the UK but now living and working in Germany. I have been working professionally as a freelancer in the creative industry for more than 6 years now. As a freelancer my work is very much dependant on the client brief and includes photographing and retouching portraits, beauty & fashion images, lookbooks, model portfolios, advertising and editorial/media campaigns just to give a few examples. Being self-taught and working in such a varied industry helped me to develop a range of photography, retouching and lighting skills that are adaptable to both an indoor studio environment and on location, as well as personal skills such as attention to detail, working to a brief, strict time management, adaptability, problem solving, team work and most importantly effective communication. My skills, experience, work history, list of clients, publications and the final photography work all showcase my capabilities and I am very much of the mindset that If I don’t know something in particular or how to do something I will endeavour to find out and learn so that I can add that skill to my repertoire. In my personal work I love to take a team out on location and create images where I have more creative freedom and can let my imagination take over.
