Rosa Lacavalla was born in 1993 in Barletta, Italy. Graduated in 2017 in Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, during whose course of study she moved for a year to England where she attended the course of Photography BA (Hons) at Coventry University. She participates in exhibitions in Italy and abroad, and in workshops with internationally renowned photographers such as Paolo Marchetti, Giulio Di Sturco, Federico Borella, Alessandro Calabrese and others, while working as a trainee at the collective Cesura. In 2017 she has been selected to be published on EyesOpen! Magazine in the #11 Generations issue dedicated to young talents. She currently works as a freelance photographer. Specialized in reportage and documentary photography, her personal research is based on different cultures around the world, often focusing on small stories of daily life. Her work is placed in the dimension of listening, ready to perceive the atmospheres and circumstances that are created around.
