Born in post-bubble Japan, I have never known an era of real prosperity.
My youth was marked by the earthquake, the pandemic, and an overwhelming sense of impermanence.
In such a world, I can only express what feels true—something fleeting, fragile, and raw.
While I’m alive in this world, I believe the only thing I can truly do is to see it as deeply as I can and meet as many people in it as possible.
That’s why I want to step outside of Japan and photograph in many different countries.
I hope to find opportunities that allow me to connect with the world through my camera.
