Collin Smith (Jamie) is a Mexican-American filmmaker and photographer. They studied Film Production, Applied Psychology, and Child & Adolescent Mental Health at NYU. They are also preparing to pursue a Master’s and License in Mental Health Counseling. With a focus on Mental Health Media, Documentary Filmmaking, and an education in Psychology, Collin aims to explore trauma culture, the complex nature and nuance of living with illness, and what it means to recover.
