Hoogeveen, Netherlands

Nature & Animals | Travel & Landscape | Fine Arts

Richard snippe 37 years old and born in Hoogeveen a village (city) in the Netherlands, father of a son Finn (6) my main work is metalworker / machine builder / service technician in the truck industry. for Hydraulic container handling systems. (HTS-NCH) Photography is a hobby that got out of hand. Had many brands such as Fujifilm, Olympus, Sony, and now Panasonic. At the bottom of this page my camera and lens history. by shooting a lot and trying settings and watching YouTube videos and doing workshops, I mastered the basics of photography. But I still learn new things every day. Something that makes photography so beautiful. I am quite versatile in my photography styles. Portrait, nature, landscape, street, studio, all-round. But nature and landscape photography is my greatest passion and I am developing myself further in this. Occasionally I do nice freelance assignments and I go to events to take nice pictures for myself for fun or on assignment. I have organized a number of photowalks, something I want to do more often in the future. In 2021 I became an xpozer ambassador through my activities on social media and my enthusiasm for photography, nothing better than having your own adventures printed on a large format and displayed on someone’s wall somewhere. taking the freedom of little equipment with you in nature and just seeing what comes your way, that is enjoying photography. And if that comes together well, that’s the best moment for me. this is why i shoot with panasonic. my dream is to be able to earn my living with photography one day or to be able to do this alongside my current job. And to be able to transfer the passion of photography. and to be able to take others to that moment with my photo adventures and photos. believing in yourself and keep trying but above all enjoying is the key to success. Don’t be put off from photography by just looking at the “pro” and his expensive equipment. Great results can be achieved with every lens and camera these days. it makes photography a bit more exciting to do this with what you have. (Often also budget related of course ) being in the right place at the right time is the beginning of a good photo. and knowing your equipment is very important to catch the right moment. by shooting a lot you automatically start to see the right moments faster and better. greetings richard snippe
