Branko Starcevic

Hi, I’m Branko Starčević, a portrait photographer based in Belgrade. Photography has been my passion for years, and over time, I’ve built a diverse portfolio, focusing on advertising and sports photography. While I’ve worked across many areas of professional photography, I always find myself drawn to portraits. I love capturing the essence of a person through thoughtful lighting and a minimalist approach, often using subtle contrasts to add depth and emotion to my work. Beyond commercial work, I’m also dedicated to my personal project, Old Roads, where I explore and document the lives of people in remote areas of Serbia. I’m drawn to stories that often go unseen, capturing the resilience, traditions, and everyday moments of those living far from the spotlight. I thrive on challenges and meaningful projects—whether it’s an intense studio session, an outdoor shoot in rugged landscapes, or telling a story through a single frame. I’ve had the chance to collaborate with agencies like McCann Erickson, Ovation BBDO, and Leo Burnett, as well as work with individuals from the worlds of sports, business, and the creative industries. Every project is a new opportunity to create something unique, and that’s what keeps me inspired.
