Stéfan Ayao Weil is a London-based photographer who specialises in documenting subcultures and fashion. Focusing on themes of heritage and identity, he leverages scale as a tool to focus and direct discussion. A recent Master’s graduate from the MA Commercial Photography course at London College of Communication, Weil has been featured in a plethora of publications including The Wire, VICE, and The Telegraph. His most recent project, 'To Be King', a photographic exploration of Weil’s identity as a Black Briton, has been spotlighted on WeTransfer’s creative platform ‘WePresent’ and exhibited at the Royal Institute of International Affairs.
