I've never been empathetic. And this is something that for most of my life has been a problem in connecting with people. I don't understand people: I understand machines. I write in code, I empathize with the gears and play with the processes.
Then I discovered the photography. I found out that by placing a machine, a camera, between me and reality something unthinkable was happening, and the emotion was impressed on the picture, and I could understand it.
My photos condense what I cannot express in any other way.
So I began to photograph the world around me.
