Thirdy Ado (born May 14, 1980) This Filipino- British Photographer is known for his creative style in news, documentary films, exquisite wedding and editorial high end photography. To develop his innate talent in snapping photos, he enrolled in a photography school in Chiswick United Kingdom and his journey as a professional photographer began. At the onset, Ado was unsure about the path he was going to take. He had no concrete plan about his newfound passion but his curiosity urged him to simply take the risk wherever it may lead him. When this former seafarer eventually shifted his career, he did not regret it. His big break came when he joined ABS- CBN media conglomerate as a freelance news and documentary cameraman for 7 years now. He photographed and filmed A-list celebrities, politicians, dignitaries and royalties, the likes of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco. Because of his impressive body of work, he was given a chance to showcase his talent as director of photography for Lifestyle Network’s documentary 24/24, featuring former model, now dance teacher Angela Grant, owner of eponymous Angela Grant School of Dance and banker- turned –restaurateur, one of ‘100 Most Influential Filipinas in the World, Rowena Romulo ( FWN 2017). His work has also taken him from runaways of the sought-after London Fashion week to red carpet premieres and some of the most prestigious film festivals in Europe, such as Cannes Film Festival and Berlin Film Festival. This photographer turns subtlety into majesty, being able to derive ideas from various influences. He ultimately found his passion as a relentless seeker of art and truth through photograph and he is definitely loving it.
