“Sometimes we need to take risks and embrace change as things not always go as planned but a curvy road might end up to be very fruitful. Involved in facilitating personal growth and professional development for managing senior directors and young talent, I ended up in Vancouver. A bustling seaport of British Columbia, ethnically diverse and surrounded by mountains, thriving art, and music scenes. A crossroads where everything has come together, sustainability, community, food, and nature. Vancouver is on the path to becoming the greenest city in the world with a strategy for staying on the leading edge of urban sustainability. I got involved in a few entrepreneurial projects and volunteering initiatives, one of which was with the Fable restaurant, co-founded by Chef Trevor Bird (who competed on Top Chef Canada's second season). Eating local means eating locally-sourced and locally-grown foods and Fable partners with local growers and farmers for its fresh, seasonal ingredients, farm to table. Food has always had a great place in my heart, connecting people through food, charge and reconnect, learn through diversity, surrounded by nature, I want to keep creating such experiences … And Gotland in Sweden is a magical place, maybe the Baltic Sea was calling?! I am here to foster my skills in sustainable destination development and entrepreneurship, it feels home to me. Through photography, I wish to work on projects and brands that share the same values of sustainability that is so close to my heart.”
