A decade of art classes in my formative years and a generational love for the outdoors started to morph into a landscape and wildlife photography hobby during my teens. In 2009, I studied photography full-time at the Stellenbosch Institute of Photography and Multimedia Design, and afterward, completed a marketing degree from Stellenbosch University to add theoretical knowledge to my creative spirit.
In due course, I started to enjoy photographing people and portraits, and for several years assisted various award-winning photographers on location and wedding photography assignments. Through these experiences, I gained the necessary knowledge and confidence to commercialize my photography and cement my unique style. As a photographer, I am always learning and trying to stretch the boundaries of my art.
