Josh Knowles

I’ve been a photographer for the past five years, within the past five years I’ve been experimental and adventurous with my photography which has brought me too some amazing places, such example would be my recent trip South Korea, There is a page to see my work whilst I was there on my website. I came from humble beginnings with my photography thanks to my mother who got me hooked as soon as I picked up my late grand father’s Olympus Trip 35, I never got to meet my grand father so I imagine when I look through the lens of his camera I’m seeing through his eyes. I’m a classically trained black and white photography with works featured Salisbury Journal and Streets Through The Lens Mag. I consider myself to be somewhat of a purist photographer, nowadays I don’t think it has a definition but essentially I don’t add anything to my images that weren’t already there. No need to add drama to an already dramatical landscape or put stars in a stunning photo of the milky way. I want to make photography my life I can’t go a day without being creative and going out to shoot.
