Abbie Jennings is an award winning freelance Photographer based in the North of England.
Her personal and commissioned practice explores aspects of people, places and personal nostalgia, often delving into sub-cultures and identity.
She holds a First Class degree in Photography (2017) and an MA in Art Gallery and Museum Studies (2020). In 2023 Abbie was awarded a DYCP from Arts Council England to develop her practice as a Photography Curator.
In 2021 Abbie was a finalist at the British Photography Awards and won an Honorable Mention at the International Photography Awards, in 2017 she won the Redeye Talent Award. As well as being featured in various publications, her work has been exhibited in various group shows across the North of England including exhibitions at Tate Liverpool, Open Eye Gallery and the National Football Museum.
As a Creative Producer she has worked on several notable Heritage Lottery and Arts Council funded projects.
