I am Erekle Sologashvili. I was born in Tbilisi and spent my childhood in the “black 90s”. Photography has always been my passion, and I am very proud that I was able to turn my hobby into my favorite profession. I first started taking photos at the age of 17, and since then have never stopped. My first camera was an old film camera, Olympus and only after some time I was able to switch it to the digital. I was accepted to the Shota Rustaveli Film and Theater University in Tbilisi, faculty of TV/movie operator. After graduation, I worked for several TV channels, and after that became a freelancer in filming agencies. Within some time and gained experience I finally understood that documentary photography was the world in my eyes. Ever since I have been working on a variety of projects in Georgia and have pictured regions, people and cultural backgrounds.
